A humorous yet loving take on a popular guitar riff in the Philippines. I
took the guitar intro from Callalily's song "Magbalik", and appropriated
it as a subject for a fugue in 3 voices. This would be the third version of
the fugue, originally a simple three-preset arrangement, followed by an
orchestral version, and this latest iteration an electronic version with
instrumentation by programmed Vital Synthesizer presets I designed
myself.

Although the guitar intro of "Magbalik" is credited to former Callalily
lead guitarist Alden Acosta, the instrumental arrangement,
counterpoint, and chord progression found in this derivative piece make
me the de facto owner of this fugue.
